More than two weeks ago I visited the club evening at Fotogroep Klazienaveen, where the subject of the evening was the old farms in the Oosterse Bos in Schoonebeek. Although I had never seen any photos of this location on Zoom (Dutch online photography community) or social media, it was said to be a popular spot among photographers. When I arrived at the location I looked around and didn’t immediately see anything impressive. The area seemed no bigger than 500 meters and I wondered why it was so popular with photographers. Still, I saw it as a challenge to capture something beautiful here, and that was the only positive aspect I could find in it.
Until next time,
Quirina
