Although I’m definitely not a sports photographer, I decided to give it a shot during the European Cycling Championship in Emmen and see what would come out of it. The time trial went incredibly fast, requiring me to react very quickly, which isn’t always easy, especially when you also have your dog with you. I deliberately chose to photograph only the professional riders because I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep up for long. I didn’t take many photos, but that actually turned out to be quite pleasant. Editing photos is not my favorite part of the photography process, after all.
In the end, I only ended up with a few photos that I’m satisfied with, and I shared a couple of them on my blog. In addition to photography, I also created a short video, which I shared at the bottom of my blog post.
