Last year, I went to China Lights Emmen for the first time, an event I absolutely didn’t want to miss. Unfortunately, I had to rush due to the curfew, turning it into more of a race against the clock. My goal was to capture as much of the event as possible in photographs, and you can see that in my pictures. Fortunately, I got another chance to take pictures at a leisurely pace during the first edition, but unfortunately, my mood was not optimal due to the passing of Matsi.
This year, the China Lights event in Emmen took place again, and I didn’t hesitate for a moment to go again. Last Saturday, it finally happened, and even the weather cooperated. I was looking forward to the new illuminated artworks I could capture with my camera. Although I must admit that this edition was a bit disappointing, I still thoroughly enjoyed the evening and went home with a beautiful series of photos.
As I reflected on my experiences from both years, I realized that I had created a collection of excellent photos. That’s why I’ve decided to compile the best photos from both years in this blog post. Feel free to click on each photo to enlarge it and be enchanted by the beautiful artworks these people have created.
